The Attribute Groups Page

The Attribute Groups page is where attribute groups can be created, edited, and deleted. The attribute groups you create can be activated on The Attribute Editor Page to limit the number of attributes that are displayed.

Create Attribute Groups

To create an attribute group, follow these steps:

1. Select the context into which you want to add your attribute group using the Context drop-down menu.

2. Click the Create button.
3. Enter a name for your group in the Attribute Group field.

4. Select an owner for your attribute group using the Owner drop-down menu.
You can share your group with more than one user by selecting a group role.
5. Select the attributes that you want to add to your group in the Available list, and add them to the Selected list by clicking the Add button.

You can select more than one attribute at a time by holding the SHIFT or CTRL keys on your keyboard while selecting them.
6. Click the Add button to move them to the Selected list.
7. To reorder the attributes in your group, select the attribute you wish to move, and then use the Up and Down buttons to change the attribute's position in the list.
8. When you have finished setting up your attribute group, click the Save button.

Edit an Attribute Group

To edit an attribute group, follow these steps:

1. Use the Context drop-down menu to select the context associated with the attribute group you wish to edit.

2. Use the Attribute Groups drop-down menu to select the group you wish to edit.
3. Click the Edit button.
4. Modify your group as you would when creating it. You will be able to:
   1. Edit the group's name
   2. Change the owner of the group
   3. Modify the attributes associated with the group
   4. Modify your group's description
5. When you have finished modifying the group, click the Save button.

Modify Attribute Data

You can modify attribute values for the objects in your database using The Attribute Editor Page.
